Azure Network Engineer

An Azure Network Engineer designs, implements, and manages secure and scalable network solutions in Microsoft Azure, connecting cloud and on-premises environments. Key responsibilities include configuring Azure networking services like VNets and NSGs, setting up hybrid connectivity with VPNs and ExpressRoute, and ensuring performance and security through monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing best practices.

Core responsibilities :

• Design and implement network architectures that align with the organization's requirements for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Install, configure, and maintain networking devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Set up IP addressing, subnets, VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks), and routing protocols to facilitate efficient data flow and communication.
• Implement security measures such as access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
• Monitor network performance, traffic patterns, and bandwidth utilization using network monitoring tools.
• Identify and resolve network issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks through diagnostic tests and troubleshooting.
• Optimize network configurations and protocols to improve performance, reduce latency, and enhance data transfer efficiency.
• Plan and execute network hardware and software upgrades, patches, and updates to maintain the integrity of the network.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network services with other systems, including server infrastructure and applications.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
