Job Overview :

A Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance on construction sites. They work closely with project teams, site personnel, and management to implement safety protocols, prevent accidents, and maintain a safe working environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safety Management :  Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and standards on-site.
• Risk Assessment :  Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments to mitigate potential safety issues.
• Compliance :  Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Incident Investigation :  Investigate accidents and near-misses, recommend corrective actions, and maintain detailed incident reports.
• Training & Awareness :  Conduct safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and new personnel to promote a culture of safety.
• Documentation :  Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documents.
• Coordination :  Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to implement safety measures effectively.
• Continuous Improvement :  Identify potential improvements in safety processes and recommend changes to reduce risks.
