Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer with a strong background in the oil & gas industry to promote and sell our range of electrical components , industrial electrical systems , and lightning protection system (LPS) components .

The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing relationships with key industry stakeholders, initiating and managing tenders, and driving revenue growth in the oil & gas segment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, target, and develop business opportunities within oil & gas companies, EPC contractors, refineries, petrochemical plants, and engineering consultants .
  • Promote and sell the company’s portfolio of electrical components, industrial plugs & sockets, customized electrical panels, lightning protection systems, surge protection devices, grounding systems , and related products.
  • Generate new enquiries and initiate conversations with procurement departments and technical teams.
  • Drive the complete sales lifecycle – lead generation, technical discussions, proposal submission, negotiation, and order finalization.
  • Expand market presence by identifying new customers and new applications for existing products.

Tendering & Proposal Management

  • Identify upcoming tenders from oil & gas companies and relevant portals.
  • Register the company in relevant vendor lists and tendering systems.
  • Prepare tender documentation including technical compliance, commercial terms, and product specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, technical clarifications, and submission.
  • Technical Support & Site Studies

  • Provide basic technical support to customers regarding electrical components and LPS solutions.
  • Coordinate lightning risk assessment and site study requirements with the engineering team.
  • Present technical solutions to consultants and clients to ensure product acceptance in project specifications.
  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and government agencies.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demos.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and understand customer challenges and future requirements.
  • Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing patterns, and market trends in the oil & gas industry.
  • Provide insights to management for product planning and new business opportunities.
