SAP Pi / Po consultant

You will design, build, and configure integration solutions using SAP Process Orchestration (PI / PO) to meet business process and application requirements. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs, develop robust interfaces, and ensure seamless data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of integration processes.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Design and develop end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP PI / PO , ensuring adherence to project standards and best practices.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and design optimal integration solutions.

Develop and maintain interfaces using IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, File, JDBC / FTP adapters , and other technologies.

Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure stable and efficient integrations.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to solution documentation.

Provide technical guidance and support during deployment and post-go-live phases.

Actively participate in team discussions and provide innovative solutions to integration challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills : Proficiency in SAP PI / PO , ESR, ID, mapping, and interface configuration.

Strong understanding of application integration techniques , adapters, and middleware concepts.

Experience with API development and integration of SAP with non-SAP systems .

Good knowledge of message monitoring, error handling , and performance tuning in PI / PO.

Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
