Currently we are lookingfor The Infrastructure Engineer 2.
The Infrastructure Engineer 2 is responsible for designing building and implementing systems and hybrid cloud solutions in support of our global IT Infrastructure. The position serves as a primary escalation point for advanced infrastructure and user-related issues ensuring high availability and continuity of critical systems operations. Beyond troubleshooting youll drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize and modernize existing systems making a real impact on performance reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design build and implement basic technology platforms and hybrid cloud solutions
- Safeguard the security integrity and confidentiality of the companys supported systems and data; collaborate on and execute basic improvements to maintain and achieve high security posture
- Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues and outages; perform problem-solving root-cause and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvements
- Document the design operation procedures and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders
- Participate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards policies and configuration guidelines
- Collaborate on best practices standards and processes for design and administration of systems and solutions
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices including but not limited to Hylands Information Systems Security Policy.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and relevant work experienceExperience as a Systems Engineer / ArchitectExperience working with hybrid cloud solutionsExperience working with virtualization technologiesExperience working with Windows and Linux server operating systemsGood oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactGood data gathering interviewing and analytical / problem solving skillsGood customer service orientationGood interpersonal skills : able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of departmentGood attention to detailAble to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environmentExperience working with Cisco UCS servers and NetApp storageExperience with scripting and automation - PowerShell Terraform AnsibleMicrosoft Windows or MacOS and Microsoft Office proficiencyGood knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environmentsUp to 5% travel time requiredDisclaimer : Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the jobHylands Offering
