Role : SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
As a Social Media & Content Manager, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality video, graphic and textual content across social media and ad platforms. You’ll work with the content creation team to bring the brand to life through content that’s scroll-stopping, witty, and distinctly Schmooze.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create social media strategy and plan content calendars well in advance (IG, YT, X and LinkedIn)
- Own the end-to-end video content pipeline – from concept, storyboard, and scripting to execution – with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Ideate, shoot, and edit engaging videos across formats : skits, trend-based reels, vox pops , and performance ads (Meta & Google)
- Stay updated on content trends and techniques to constantly level up creative quality and effectiveness
- Create impactful graphics and copy-led content for Twitter (X), Meta Ads, push notifications and marketing campaigns
- Drive regular influencer marketing and moment marketing campaigns
- Analyse content performance (views, engagement, watch time, CTR, etc.) periodically and iterate based on insights
- Support the ad team with quick-turnaround creatives and test variations for optimal performance
Must Haves :
Strong portfolio of video content across short-form and long-form formatsProficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or mobile editing applications)On-camera presence and comfortable ideating, scripting, filming, and editing independentlyFamiliarity with graphic design and content / copywritingSolid understanding of content trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior.Sharp creative copywriting skills — from catchy hooks and video scripts to punchy one-liners and tweet-style copyMeme fluency and strong grasp of pop cultureNice to Haves :
Experience with camera operation, lighting, and audio recording techniquesMotion graphics and animation techniques would be a plusPrior experience as a content creator on personal channels is preferred
