About the Role
Boston Institute of Analytics is hiring an Academic Coordinator / Admissions Operations Executive to manage day-to-day academic and admissions operations for our Thane campus.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in academic coordination, admissions support, center administration, or EdTech operations , and can ensure smooth functioning between students, counselors, faculty, and internal teams.
You will handle the operational backbone of the admissions cycle — from managing inquiries and documentation to coordinating counseling sessions, maintaining records, scheduling academic activities, and supporting students through the enrollment journey.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions Coordination & Student Support
- Handle incoming student inquiries, counsel students on basic program information, and route them to the concerned academic counselors.
- Coordinate end-to-end admissions workflow : inquiry → follow-up → counseling → documentation → enrollment.
- Assist students with application forms, eligibility checks, documents, fee details, and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain timely follow-ups via phone, email, and WhatsApp to ensure conversions and high satisfaction.
Academic Operations & Administration
Schedule counseling sessions, academic meetings, orientation sessions, and faculty interactions.Prepare student files, maintain academic documentation, and ensure compliance with internal processes.Coordinate with faculty and academic teams for class schedules, batch planning, student lists, and attendance records.Ensure that students receive required study material, brochures, and academic support on time.CRM & Data Management
Update student inquiries, status, follow-ups, and enrollment details in the CRM with 100 percent accuracy.Track daily admissions metrics, counselor updates, and conversion progress.Generate weekly MIS reports on inquiries, leads, follow-ups, enrollments, and no-shows.Communication & Event Coordination
Support counselors during webinars, online counseling sessions, orientation events, and information seminars.Assist in planning academic events, workshops, and student engagement activities.Serve as a reliable point of communication among students, academic counselors, faculty, and the operations team.Market & Student Insights
Gather feedback from prospective students about course demand, counselor experience, and enrollment blockers.Share actionable insights to improve the admissions process and student experience.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or related field.1–3 years of experience in academic coordination, admissions operations, counseling support, or center administration (EdTech / training institutes preferred).Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);CRM experience is an advantage.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and support peak admissions cycles.Polished customer-handling skills and strong follow-up discipline.Why Join BIA?
