About the Role

The AI Business Analyst will play a key role in defining business and product requirements for AI-driven systems and ensuring successful delivery of features powered by AI / ML, LLMs, and GenAI platforms. This role requires strong analytical thinking and hands-on engagement with AI product workflows, cloud platforms, and stakeholder needs.

The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with customers, product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business goals into AI-powered solutions and measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will have experience in requirements gathering, user journeys, data readiness, process mapping, and shaping product functionality for AI-enabled applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI / ML features, use cases, and solution specifications.
• Work on defining functional requirements and acceptance criteria for AI workflows, LLM-based features, and cloud AI integrations on platforms such as Microsoft Fabric / Foundry, Azure, and AWS.
• Conduct analysis on business processes, data flows, and user journeys to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to validate feasibility, constraints, and data readiness across cloud AI systems.
• Create user stories, BRDs / FRDs, wireframes, and workflow diagrams for GenAI and AI product initiatives.
• Support the assessment, prioritization, and roadmap planning of AI features and improvements.
• Assist in defining KPIs, evaluation metrics, and qualitative / quantitative success indicators for AI-powered product capabilities.
• Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new AI features, including behavior evaluation for LLM systems.
• Provide clear business-technical communication and maintain documentation to support collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Work effectively with remote and cross-functional stakeholders using modern product and communication tools.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or requirements design in technology-driven products.

Familiarity with GenAI and AI / ML concepts and platforms, including LLMs, embeddings, vector-based workflows, and cloud AI services.

Experience working with cloud environments such as Microsoft Fabric / Foundry, Azure, or AWS and understanding of common AI product patterns.

Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications for AI-enabled applications.

Skills in process modelling, workflow analysis, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git-based collaboration, or similar.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and data teams.

Ability to operate independently in dynamic, distributed, cloud-based environments.
