Job descriptionSoftware development with strong skills in database modeling (relational, multi-dimensional) and optimization, as well as data architecture, particularly with databases like Vertica. Experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence Platform / Data platform sizing, tuning, optimization, and system landscape integration in large-scale enterprise deployments. Extensive work in multi-petabyte data warehouse environments. Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Java, Scala, or Python. Proven experience in developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Hadoop, relational databases, enterprise data warehouses, and OLAP solutions. Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC / CICD practices, and tools. Proven experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Scala programming, including performance tuning and optimizing data processing jobs. Hands-on experience with streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark Streaming. Strong understanding of distributed systems. Experience in engineering large-scale systems in a product environment.
