Jr. Civil Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Jr. Civil Engineer to oversee daily construction activities and ensure that site works are carried out as per drawings, specifications, and safety requirements. The role involves close monitoring of manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve timely and quality execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and control day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth progress of work.
• Execute construction works as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Plan daily and weekly work schedules, manpower, and material requirements in coordination with engineers.
• Monitor and ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Check and verify levels, alignments, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing work.
• Ensure quality of work and compliance with company standards and safety norms.
• Maintain and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and other site documentation to the Senior Engineer or Project Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, labor teams, and engineers to resolve site issues and maintain productivity.
• Plan and report material requirements based on daily and weekly targets; monitor usage and minimize wastage.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety measures, and strict PPE compliance at all times.
• Guide and support junior supervisors and foremen for efficient site operations.
• Report site issues, delays, or non-conformities promptly to the Project Engineer / Manager.
