As a Lead Software Engineer Vice President at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-native services that support Chase UK. You will utilize technologies such as Golang AWS Kubernetes and Kafka to promote automation and enhance the developer experience. Collaborating with skilled colleagues you will contribute to architectural decisions and foster a culture of technical excellence. Your efforts will have a direct impact on the reliability scalability and security of our digital banking platform.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design architect and develop cloud-native services and automation solutions using Golang and AWS Cloud APIs.
• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle for platform engineering projects.
• Collaborate with product managers architects and stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Champion best practices in software engineering including code quality automated testing and CI / CD.
• Guide architectural discussions and drive consensus on design decisions for distributed systems.
• Mentor and support other engineers fostering innovation and continuous learning.
• Drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual toil and enhance developer experience.
• Evaluate new technologies and frameworks conducting proof-of-concepts to inform platform direction.
• Ensure platform solutions meet high standards for security compliance and operational excellence.
• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure and reliable platforms.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to drive improvements.
