Talasha has been mandated to hire a Events & Catering Manager for a newly established catering business. This gourmet foods brand has been in the industry since 2018 and is expanding into outdoor catering.
Responsibilities
Set up the outdoor catering vertical from scratch for the brand
Vendor Management - Select, negotiate with and on board suitable vendors for all the requirements of catering - crockery, cutlery,food ingredients, staff uniform, etc
Staff Hiring & Management - Engage & employ agencies that provide temporary service staff, hire manpower and train them end-to-end on client facing roles
Inventory & Logistics management - Create SOPs for optimal inventory management, order logging & order flow management. Coordinate end to end logistics of outdoor catering events from start to event wrap up
Events execution - Lead the team end to end on executing the event from logistics, staffing, food delivery to service and guest relations
Menu Planning - collaborate with the chefs to plan & innovate the menu & offerings on a regular basis
Client POC - Be the face of the brand in all client interactions from securing the event catering to crisis management to guest relations
Good to Have -
Hospitality Management Graduate
At least 3 years experience in F&B / Catering Operations - vendor management, staff management, logistics, inventory, etc
Preferably from events or wedding planning or hospitality background
Communication skills & fluent in English and Hindi
CTC - Up to Rs. 7.5 Lakhs (basis last drawn)
