Cloud Data Solutions Engineer

Lead a team of data engineers to develop data analytic solutions such as data warehouse and data marts on Azure Databricks Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Jira, to plan out Program Increments and Sprints

Experienced in end-to-end development of data solutions on Azure using Databricks / Snowflake

Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers

Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience in Insurance domain, including insurance KPIs and regulatory reporting

Strong understanding of Guidewire (PC / BC / CC) data structures.

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Databricks / Snowflake

Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Blob Storage

Ability to design and develop scalable data pipelines on Azure and Databricks from enterprise source systems

Working knowledge of Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-code tool

Develop and enhance CI / CD workflows for data engineering solutions

Strong understanding of insurance data domains including policy, claims, and billing

Proven experience integrating data from the Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
