About the Role
The Founder’s Office is a high-impact, cross-functional role working directly with the founders to drive strategic initiatives, solve complex problems, and accelerate company growth. You will act as an execution partner to the founders—leading projects, building processes, driving clarity, and ensuring outcomes across teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, strategic thinking, fast-paced execution, and cross-functional coordination.
Role Description and Key Responsibilities
The role involves tasks including but not limited to -
Strategic Projects & ExecutionDrive high-priority strategic initiatives across R&D, Operations, Business Development, Finance, and HR.Convert founder-level goals into detailed execution plans with clear timelines & deliverables.Conduct research, data analysis, competitive benchmarking, and insights generation for decision-making.2. Business & Operational Excellence
Identify operational bottlenecks and propose system / process improvements.Build dashboards, trackers, and frameworks to improve visibility and efficiency.Lead cross-functional problem resolution and ensure accountability.3. Program & Project Management
Coordinate and track end-to-end execution of cross-functional projects.Maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risk logs.Drive weekly reviews, follow-ups, and on-ground execution alignment.Ensure tasks are completed on time by collaborating with internal teams (sales, operations, product, finance, etc.)4. High-Quality PowerPoint (Critical Skill)
You must be exceptionally good in PPT, including : Creating OEM pitch decks, product capability presentations, and technical feature explanations.Structuring clear storytelling for OEM leadership : Problem (OEM Pain) → Our Tech Advantage → Validation Data → TCO Benefit → Commercial FitPreparing internal and customer review decks, tender decks, and decision-ready slides.Business review decks (weekly, monthly, quarterly).Project progress updates for leadership.Analytical insights turned into simple, understandable slides.Visual storytelling with problem–impact–solution–action flow.Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready slides.5. Analytical & Financial Modelling (TCO, ROI)
You will build analytical models to justify premium battery pricing, such as :
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) vs competitor battery packsCost / km, cost / cycle, cost per delivered kWh analysisPayback & ROI models showing customer profitability improvementCycle life vs price modellingFast-charging benefit calculationsFleet economics and uptime analysis6. Advanced Excel & Data Analytics (Critical Skill)
You must be excellent in Excel :
Build dashboards, trackers, and performance reports.Analyze trends, identify gaps, and propose improvements.Build financial and business models (revenue, cost, forecasts).Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.Use functions like : XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, IF, Pivot Tables, Charts, and Data Cleaning.7. Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving
Break down complex business problems into simple, actionable insights.Build data-backed recommendations for management.Evaluate operational bottlenecks and propose process improvements.Prepare cost-benefit analyses, TCO models, and ROI assessments (if required).8. Leadership Support
Prepare briefing notes, business reviews, and executive-level presentations.Support investor communication, board decks, and strategic documents.Maintain priority calendars, follow-ups, and task closures for founders.Desired Qualifications and Experience
3–6 Experience in consulting, program management, strategy, or a founder’s office role (preferred).Preferably in EV, batteries, powertrain, automotive components, energy, BESS, Renewable or relevant industries.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related fields) or MBAPreference for candidates from Tier-1 and Tier-2 engineering or management institutes.Strong analytical ability, structured thinking, and problem-solving mindset.Excellent communication—written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.High ownership, bias for action, and the ability to work in ambiguity.Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and project management tools.What We Offer
