Windows Server Administrator Senior

Job descriptionWindows Server experience (approx 95% windows server estate) IIS Web services Understanding of .NET and .NET Core configuration files (connection strings etc) Good working knowledge of Powershell Understanding of DFS file replication Hyper-V / System Center Virtual Machine Manager Windows Failover Clustering Redis RabbitMQ Basic understanding of subnets / VLANs and how logical networks work with Hyper-V Network routing at the server level Most importantly - Be friendly and approachable

Requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows server infrastructure
- Monitor and support Windows server environment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of Windows server infrastructure
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute server upgrades and migrations
- Participate in the development and implementation of server-related policies and procedures
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in Windows server management
