About Position :

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Lead to join our team. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards through comprehensive functional and automation testing, while actively contributing to the development and maintenance of robust test frameworks.

What You'll Do :

As a Automation QA Lead, you will be responsible for driving quality across the software development lifecycle through functional and automation testing.

Demonstrate exceptional functional testing abilities, focusing on edge cases and comprehensive coverage.

Write detailed test cases and maintain test plans to ensure high-quality standards.

Document defects meticulously and track them through resolution.

Actively participate in grooming and planning sessions, providing accurate estimates for test activities.

Build new automation frameworks from scratch and enhance existing ones.

Set up CI / CD pipelines in AWS (preferred) or Azure.

Evaluate and provide feedback on peers’ automation scripts to align with best practices.

Take ownership of releases, ensuring all functional testing requirements are met.

Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on status, risks, and issues.

Expertise You'll Bring :

We are looking for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for quality assurance.

Minimum 10 years of experience in automation testing, including writing scripts for web applications and services.

Strong experience in object-oriented programming principles.

Hands-on experience with :

Python & JavaScript (minimum 5 years)

Playwright for API and UI Automation (minimum 5 years)

Pytest or similar testing frameworks

API testing and automation

Knowledge of SQL and proficiency in source control systems like GitHub.

Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).

Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to QA community best practices.

Previous experience in finance domain is a plus.
