Transmission Line Drawing Validator

Job Title : Checker – Transmission Line Location : Chennai

Contract Duration : 1 Year (Extendable based on performance & project requirement)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Checker with strong exposure to transmission line projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring accuracy of engineering drawings, preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), and shop floor drawings. Candidates with experience up to 800 kV transmission line projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

Validate and review AutoCAD drawings for transmission line projects.

Prepare and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) for materials required.

Develop and finalize shop floor / fabrication drawings .

Ensure compliance with project design standards and quality parameters.

Collaborate with design engineers, project teams, and shop floor personnel for drawing clarifications and smooth execution.

Identify discrepancies and ensure corrections before release for production.

Maintain drawing documentation and revision history accurately.

Adhere to project timelines, specifications, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

Hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting & checking .

Must have worked on Transmission Line (TL) projects up to 800 kV .

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Experience in BOM preparation is mandatory.

Good understanding of fabrication / shop floor drawings and industrial standards.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in checking.

Any experience level in transmission domain is acceptable, provided core skills are strong.
