Job Description Summary

The role is for leading the Product quality of the Current transformer line which involves CT inprocess ( CT taping, CT assembly, Oven process, Oil filling), CT lab and Core box lab ( All Tests related to CT), CT outgoing process( PDI checks..etc), complete FAT management . Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning / execution. The role requires liason with other functions and lead teams to .meet the unit targets and KPIs. Ensure daily functioning of Labs, Quality checks in in process, outgoing

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure that products and services perform according to quality standards and that manufacturing processes are capable and qualified.
• leading the Product quality of the Current transformer line which involves CT inprocess ( CT taping, CT assembly, Oven process, Oil filling), CT lab and Core box lab ( All Tests related to CT), CT outgoing process( PDI checks..etc), complete FAT management
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters.Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Lead and Drive teams to ensure Lab management and quality control process from inprocess to outgoing to meet unit targets and Quality KPIs.
• Complete FAT management with customer including tests and Quality documentation and support for resolution of site issues and conducting of RCA(8D, PSR) to resolve customer as well as for internal NC resolution.
