What You Will Do

Kenvue is hiring a Engineer Database SQL [Returnship Program].

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with 2+ years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting large-scale SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, database security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases (2008R2 to latest versions).
• Implement and maintain database security, backups, replication, clustering, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization (indexes, stored procedures, queries).
• Troubleshoot database-related issues including connectivity, corruption, blocking, and deadlocks.
• Manage database deployments, migrations, patching, and upgrades.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure high availability.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, and SQL Agent jobs.
• Monitor database systems using tools like SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, and third-party monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams to design and optimize data models.
• Maintain documentation for database systems, processes, and policies.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation as needed.
