International Renewable Energy Developer experiencing growth, seeking an experienced Finance & Investment professional to oversee group finance.

Your new Company :

An international renewable energy developer with a significant development pipeline of solar, wind, and storage projects across Australia. They have achieved successful outcomes with their fledgeling projects in Australia and Asia and now the focus turns to further growth of the company and projects. They are vertically integrated in that they are also an OEM, with ambitious plans to expand their manufacturing base locally.

They have offices in Brisbane and Tokyo so this role can be office based or remote within Australian or Japan - Asia also considered.

Your new role :

Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, the position is responsible for securing the significant and complex funding required to simultaneously scale a capital-intensive project pipeline and a high-growth technology / product business.

Responsible for the entire financial stewardship of the group, encompassing capital raising (both project and corporate finance), investment strategy, M&A execution, and building a high-performance finance function; as well as :

Who you are :

Extensive finance / investment experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CFO, Head of Finance, Head of M&A / Investment). You have Proven Track Record in Capital Raising for both debt and equity in complex environments. You have M&A and Investment transaction-based experience including analysis, valuation, and due diligence.

If you have experience in Renewable Energy infrastructure and / or OEM this is highly desirable. Having a strategic & commercial mindset and experience from Investment Banking, Renewables Development is also desirable as is familiarity with high growth start up environments, building functions from scratch.

English is a requirement for this position.
