Job Title : Telecom Design Engineer – Oil & Gas Industry

Location : Chennai / Bangalore

Experience Required : Minimum 15 Years

Qualification : BE / ME / MTech in Engineering

Industry : Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecom Design Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of relevant design experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the design and engineering of telecom and security systems and must be familiar with international standards and EPC workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute basic and detailed engineering of industrial telecom and security systems.

Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO), offer evaluations, and technical bid summaries.

Review vendor documents for telecom systems : CCTV, PAGA, Radio, ACS, Telephone, IDS, LAN / WAN, SCS, Fiber Optic Systems, etc.

Prepare telecom block diagrams, philosophies, and system specifications.

Develop telecom installation layouts, cable routing plans, termination drawings, and building layout detailing.

Conduct coverage studies and reports for CCTV, PAGA, Radio, WiFi Access Points, traffic load calculations, etc.

Interface with other engineering disciplines in EPC workflows.

Required Skills & Experience :

Strong experience in telecom system design in oil & gas environments.

Familiarity with standards such as ANSI, IEC, DNVGL, ETSI.

Experience working with international clients like ADNOC, Saudi Aramco (preferred).

Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
