Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a VMC Setter Cum Operator at Multitech Tools located in Thirumudivakkam, Chennai. The VMC Setter Cum Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). Duties include understanding technical drawings, selecting and installing tools, verifying machine settings, conducting test runs, and ensuring the quality of machined parts. Additionally, troubleshooting and performing minor maintenance on the machinery will be required. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and collaborating with other team members to meet production targets is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMC Setup and Operation, Tool Selection, and Installation
• Proficiency in Reading Technical Drawings and Specifications
• Knowledge of Machine Settings and Parameters, conducting test runs, and verifying quality
• Ability to Troubleshoot and Perform Minor Maintenance on VMC
• Understanding of Safety Protocols and Procedures
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
