Job Description
IT Support & Service Desk Operations
Provide first- and second-level IT support to employees.
Manage user accounts, access control, and security permissions.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Administer Office 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
Ensure timely ticket resolution in line with SLAs using IT service management tools.
System Administration & Infrastructure Management
Maintain desktop, server, and cloud environments to support business operations.
Implement data backup, disaster recovery, and system restoration plans.
Monitor network and system performance to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with external vendors for system upgrades and issue resolution.
Compliance & Audit Readiness (Pharmaceutical Industry Regulations)
Ensure IT systems comply with 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards.
Conduct internal IT audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
Prepare compliance documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for regulatory audits.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to align IT policies with business processes.
Security & Data Protection
Enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive pharmaceutical data.
Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Monitor security logs for potential threats or unauthorized access.
Support data encryption, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and endpoint security solutions.
Vendor & Documentation Management
Collaborate with third-party vendors for IT services, software updates, and troubleshooting.
Maintain IT documentation, including SOPs, incident reports, and change management logs.
Conduct training sessions for employees on IT policies and procedures.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of IT support, service desk operations, and technical troubleshooting.
Proficient in Office 365 administration, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Experienced with Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, and Windows Server environments.
Knowledgeable in data backup, system restoration, and disaster recovery solutions.
Familiar with pharmaceutical IT compliance standards such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and HIPAA.
Solid understanding of IT security policies, network security, and cybersecurity best practices.
Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting
Skilled in analyzing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Experienced in managing service tickets, escalations, and end-user support requests.
Communication & Collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with IT teams, vendors, and auditors.
Capable of translating complex technical issues into understandable terms for non-technical users.
Project Management & Documentation
Experienced in managing IT projects focused on compliance, security, and system upgrades.
Proficient in maintaining comprehensive IT documentation, audit logs, and compliance reports.
