Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Server Engineer to join Allegion’s IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance server environments that support Allegion’s global operations. This role requires a deep understanding of server architecture, cloud integrations, security protocols, and automation to ensure our infrastructure remains resilient, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade server infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline server provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place and tested regularly.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices, including patch management, access controls, and threat mitigation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
• Lead efforts to migrate legacy systems to modern, scalable platforms, including cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Document infrastructure architecture, procedures, and standards to support ongoing maintenance and audits.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across IT teams to support enterprise initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
