Job Role : Chief Rolling Stock Expert

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Post-Graduation preferred in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Strong technical foundation in Rolling Stock design, operations, and maintenance

Experience Requirements :

Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Railway / Metro Rolling Stock

Experience must include Rolling Stock design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and interface management

At least 3 years of international experience working on Railway / Metro systems

Prior experience in senior technical advisory or expert roles preferred

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee all Rolling Stock–related activities for the project

Review design documents, technical specifications, and interface requirements

Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams

Provide expert guidance on Rolling Stock procurement, performance parameters, reliability, and safety standards

Ensure compliance with international norms, project specifications, and best engineering practices

Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of Rolling Stock

Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in technical negotiations

Provide periodic progress reports and recommendations to the client

Skills & Competencies :

Strong expertise in Rolling Stock technology and system integration

Knowledge of international Railway / Metro standards

Excellent leadership and coordination abilities

Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills

Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
