Job descriptionLead by example — contribute to coding, architecture design, and code reviews where required. Deep expertise in Node.Js / NestJS , microservices , and AWS Cloud Architecture . Provide technical direction for Flutter and React -based frontend development. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) , containerization , and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / Ansible) . Design and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka, SQS, SNS with strong observability using ELK, Prometheus, Grafana . Oversee database migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from monolith to microservices. Manage integrations with ERP systems, OEM telematics, CIAM, and external APIs. Partner with DevOps for secure, automated, and observable infrastructure (CI / CD, IaC). Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team (Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA). Create a culture of ownership, innovation, and technical excellence. Conduct regular technical and database schema reviews. Collaborate with Product and Business teams for effective sprint planning and delivery. Oversee vendor and partner integrations for accelerated project timelines. Drive adoption of AI / ML for predictive analytics, route optimization, and carbon insights. Work with data teams to establish real-time, event-driven data pipelines. Explore emerging technologies to enhance platform intelligence and operational efficiency. 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and engineering leadership. Proven track record in building or scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Deep expertise in Node.Js / NestJS , microservices , and AWS Cloud Architecture . Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) , containerization , and IaC (Terraform / Ansible) . Strong understanding of event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS) and cloud observability (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana). Proficiency in Flutter and React for modern frontend architecture. Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB). Proven experience in database migration and monolith-to-microservices transformation . Exposure to security, compliance, and performance tuning at scale. Ability to make build-vs-buy decisions, manage vendors, and balance short-term delivery with long-term scalability. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Prior experience in EV mobility, fleet tech, logistics, or IoT platforms. Familiarity with AI / ML integrations, telematics data, or carbon analytics. Strategic thinker with a builder’s mindset. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Analytical, solution-oriented, and detail-focused. Passionate about mentoring and growing technical talent. Entrepreneurial mindset with focus on execution speed and product excellence.
Role Overview
The Lead Engineer will lead the complete technology build and delivery of the BLive Mobility platform , a global SaaS solution integrating EV fleet management, charging infrastructure, driver operations, and carbon management.
This role demands a hands-on engineering leader who can architect, code when needed, and manage a cross-functional team across frontend, backend, DevOps, and QA. The AVP will define the technical roadmap, drive system design, ensure performance and security, oversee database migration, and lead the transition from a monolithic to a microservices-based architecture to scale the platform across India and globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Leadership & Platform Ownership
- Own the end-to-end engineering strategy, roadmap, and execution for the BLive Mobility platform.
- Architect and build a scalable, modular, multi-tenant SaaS platform integrating Fleet, Charging, Driver, and Carbon modules.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate feature roadmaps into sprint-ready engineering plans.
- Drive continuous delivery, code quality, and release discipline for platform reliability and uptime.
- Manage system scalability, availability, and cost optimization on AWS Cloud.
