Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Back End Developer located in Chennai. The Back End Developer will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role includes collaborating with front-end developers, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and implementing security and data protection measures.

Core Responsibilities

• Translation of complex requirements into detailed design
• Developing and delivering quality services and solutions using Node.JS, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL and other web technologies.
• Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology.
• The candidate must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support
• Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.
• Build (code) and unit test app functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.
• Provide technical leadership by providing architectural guidance and establishing best practices.
• Translation of complex requirements into detailed design and implementation.
• Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js
• Expertise in building REST-based reactive microservices platform
• Experience and thorough understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, CockroachDB
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures
• Familiarly with event / message-driven system design and architecture
• Experience with developing microservices using cutting-edge tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ etc.
• Experience with AWS is highly desired
• Proven track record of delivering results, especially in the area of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
• Expertise in DevOps process and tooling for deployment, monitoring, and site reliability engineering
• Familiar with managing applications in the cloud.
