• Create sound internal controls around required compliances and monitor adherence to them
• Draft and revise company policies that integrate and incorporate the specific requirements related to compliances
• Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses
• Evaluate business activities specifically in the background of the agreements with the Government of India to assess compliance risk; work with respective stakeholders to identify and propose mitigation actions
• Collaborate with external auditors, PMC and government authorities as needed
• Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
• Educate and train employees on regulations, compliances required under the agreements and industry practices
• Address employee concerns or questions on compliance
• Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals.
