We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team! You’ll play a key role in building robust automation frameworks, driving test quality, and collaborating with development teams in India and clients in the US.
Experience Required - 4 to 10 years
Location - Hyderabad or Remote.
Roles & Responsibility :
Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts using project-approved frameworks and tools (C# / .NET, VS Test, TestLeft, Azure Pipelines).
Execute automated test suites to validate application features, workflows, and system functionality.
Identify, log, and clearly document defects discovered through automation, and work with developers and Quality Engineering leads to prioritize and resolve them.
Automate regression tests to enable early detection of defects introduced by code changes and reduce manual testing effort.
Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid feedback on build quality.
Monitor and analyze automation execution results, investigate failures, and identify root causes of script or environment issues.
Validate fixes implemented by the development team by re-running relevant automated suites and confirming defect closure.
Collaborate closely with the development team to review code changes, provide input on testability, and assess automation feasibility for new features.
Develop and maintain automated tests for REST / HTTP and service APIs (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Playwright, etc.) to build a stable backbone of logic-level coverage.
Design and prioritize test cases for unit, API / service, integration, and UI layers, focusing on risk-based and data-driven testing.
Maintain automation assets to keep scripts, test data, and utilities current, stable, and aligned with application changes.
Create and maintain documentation for automated test scripts, frameworks, utilities, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding support.
Participate in code reviews for both product and test automation code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and best practices.
Share automation best practices with other engineers, conducts demos or brown-bag sessions, and help uplift the overall automation skills of the team
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Strong experience in automation and working with development teams.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams in India and US clients.
