Active Directory Architect

Primary Skills (Must Have) : Active Directory expert (Architect) including AD Domain migrations using Quest / ADMT or similar tool, PKI, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD / EntraID & ADFS.

Secondary Skills : Azure IaaS and NPS, RDS, SCCM and Wintel.

key responsibilities

Person should have hands on experience with the designing of Large AD, Identity, and privilege access management environment.

The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the Quest Migration manager / ADMT or similar tool – ( This is a must )with at least 3-4 years of experience in Active Directory, Consolidation scenarios.

AD migration & planning experience.

The person will be the Final escalation point for all Technical issues faced during the Migration or Consolidation activities.

Candidate should have in-depth understanding of File and Print server migration, PKI infrastructure.

At least L3 level of knowledge for OKTA, ADFS, AD connect.

In depth knowledge and experience in AD assessment, GAP analysis, creating design and documenting in the prescribed tools.

Updating the stakeholders and helping the Project management with Tracking the status updates for the Project.

Excellent project planning and documentation skills is needed and must be able to drive the Project discussions with the relevant stakeholders.

Should have worked and handled end to end projects related to Active Directory Domain migration / consolidation.

Strong experience on Infrastructure assessment, solution design, architecture, planning and execution for Active Directory domain migrations.

Gather migration requirements interacting with multiple stakeholders and Application Owners.

Prepare Migration approach / Design for all Application / servers architectural components.

Good to have Exposure on Azure Infrastructure as a service.

Should have worked on cloud migration using 3rd party migration tools.

Expert level knowledge of designing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and PKI architecture

Understanding on authentication protocols such as SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth and OpenID.

Design and implementation of Active Directory Federation Services or Azure AD

Troubleshooting AD Domain migration related issues and suggest best practices.

Experience working in a consulting environment preferred.

Team player, ability to be able to work with virtual teams.

Ability to work in a variety of client settings and platforms.
