Master Data Governance Lead

THE ROLE :

A Data Steward plays a key role in creating, maintaining and governing Item Master Data. Master Data records are maintained on a global basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Coordinates the management of Item Master data creation and Item Master data maintenance. Is interfacing between development teams, the plant, coordinating the collation and creation of the necessary master data (Parts, BOM, AMPL) Supports the creation of master data in Oracle PDH and Product Lifecycle Management system PLM Ensure precise tracking of Master Data evolution and keep traceability of Engineering Changes Orders Ensure that Item Master rules and standards are applied and escalate as needed Check data inconsistencies and inform any errors to data providers and proactively follow up to ensure resolution is achieved in a timely manner. Support continuous improvement through enhanced quality of master data and performance improvement initiatives on a regular basis

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a computer-based (e.G. Computer Science, Information Systems) or business administration discipline is preferred. Knowledge of Item Master data management concepts and approaches Knowledge on PLM systems & Engineering Change order systems Knowledge of Oracle PDH Excellent problem solving, analytical, creative, and communication skills Good organizational skills Able to work in a cross-functional and international team environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent follow-through Fluent spoken / written English
