Job descriptionCivil Proposal Pre-bid Engineering, Design & Analysis and quantity estimation of various water retaining and power plant structures, structural design (steel as well as RCC), design and estimation of associated general civil works for e.g. roads, drains, buildings, plumbing & drainage etc with proficiency in design softwares like Staad-Pro, Autocad, Etabs etc. Review of consultant's estimates of design & drawings related to steel and RCC for water retaining and power plant structures, review of design of associated general civil works. Technical assessment of Proposals for new Projects through site visits, preparation of pre-bid queries, meeting with client and support for consultant, design / review of consultant's documents within the purview of tender documents. Possesses a broad understanding of the major design engineering deliverables. Plans, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work. Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and / or difficult coordination requirements. Performs work using Standard Application Programs and appropriate computer aided design and computer aided engineering (CAD and CAE) tools. Understanding of industry or regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline. Experience in working with multiple project stake holders like EPC, Client, Site Team, design consultants. Capable of interdepartmental coordination. Capable of assuring quality of design and associated deliverables Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification ('BGV') check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. Analysis and design of various Industrial RCC and Steel structural Plants including, pipe rack, platforms, buildings, plant and non-plant structures.
- Foundations (raft, Piles, micro-Piles, etc), Liquid retaining structures,
- Technological Structures
- design of dynamic foundations,
- Stack like Structures,
- Connection Design for Steel structure
- General Civil Engineering works, Design of Rigid and flexible pavements,
- Master plan layout development, site grading planning
- Understanding of rules and regulations for industrial development
- Exposure to ground improvement techniques and repair and retrofitting works
