Position Description :
We are looking for a regional sales leader for driving the growth of compliance products across Pharmaceutical companies within the country and abroad. Ideal candidate shall possess strong functional background in sales and marketing preferably selling automation solutions / SaaS applications to Life Sciences / Healthcare / Food processing industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop a sound understanding of the Pharma market where company compliance products can be sold
- Work with management and key decision makers to generate leads and convert the same to firm orders
- Providing product demonstrations to potential customers
- Plans, organizes and develops the full sales effort to ensure that the company achieves objectives for sales performance, profit margin, customer and market penetration and growth.
- Develop a sales strategy covering the identified Pharma hub(s)
- Responsible for closing sales and meeting agreed annual sales and orders targets.
- Develops sales forecasts and budgets in conjunction with the management
- Coordinate to ensure smooth and successful execution of orders in close coordination with engineering
- Support after sales requirements
- Seek service opportunities and convert to orders
Skills
Strong functional expertise in sales, preferably selling automation and control and / or SaaS applications to life sciences / healthcare / food processing industriesSound awareness of automation and control along with software solutionsWell conversant with sales and marketing methodologies with proven track record of opportunity to order conversionPharma background preferably in engineering, projects or quality with special focus on regulatory compliance will be an added advantageExcellent communication (oral & written) and organizational skills. Being well versed with English, Hindi and any local languages will be an added advantageWillingness to travel extensivelyFinancially savvy to convert opportunity pipeline to orders and ability to handle office automation software applications such as word / excel / power point etc.Team player with good adaptabilityTechnology, Innovation and creativity focusExperience Level :
8+ years, preferably selling SaaS, automation and control products to Life Sciences / Healthcare / Food processing industriesEducational Qualifications :
Graduate in any engineering discipline with MBA in marketingBasic software knowledge – PC Based, Web and Cloud Applications
