Director, Regional Developer Relations

The Director of Developer Relations & Startups (India) will lead strategic engagement with developers, startups, ISVs, researchers, and cloud partners across India. This role focuses on accelerating the adoption of the client’s technologies in AI, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Accelerated Computing . The leader will shape developer ecosystem growth, drive startup innovation, and influence technology adoption across industry and academia.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Developer & ISV Strategy Leadership
Develop and execute strategies to engage developers and ISVs across India.Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to drive alignment and ecosystem growth.B. Opportunity Identification & Technical Strategy
Identify and prioritize GPU-accelerated computing opportunities in AI and GenAI.Understand end-to-end application workflows and architectural requirements for enabling GPU acceleration.C. Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Building
Build strong relationships with key influencers, research leaders, product teams, and engineering managers within CSPs.Ensure partner success and integrate partner feedback into internal product development.D. Developer Community & Ecosystem Engagement
Drive developer adoption through conferences, meetups, workshops, and industry events.Promote client’s GPU-accelerated tools, platforms, and solutions to the community.E. Technology Integration & Competitive Awareness
Support integration of GPU acceleration into CSP applications and cloud-native solutions.Maintain awareness of competitive technologies and market trends.F. Startup Ecosystem Leadership
Lead startup ecosystem programs, including the client’s Inception program.Recruit, mentor, and support startups to co-innovate using client’s technologies.G. Evangelism & Industry Representation
Represent the client’s AI and accelerated computing strategy at industry forums, partner meetings, and academic engagements.Deliver thought leadership to both technical and business audiences.H. Training & Operational Enablement
Partner with universities, ministries, and training organizations to drive adoption of client’s SDKs, libraries, and courses.Support developer upskilling and ecosystem capability-building initiatives.3. Required Qualifications
A. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering field.Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.B. Experience
12+ years of overall experience.6+ years in a significant technical leadership role.C. Skills
Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.4. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and GPU-based solutions.Strong understanding of domains such as :Data AnalyticsConversational AIEmbedded Systems / Jetson platformStrong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Ability to use data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.
