Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :

• Typically requires 5 Years of relevant experience in Mainframe Batch & Console operations.
• Knowledge and use of job scheduling software - CA-7 / CA-11 products.
• Proficient in z / OS environment MVS JES2 ISPF JCL.
• Knowledgeable about fundamental instructions on MVS JES2 DB2 and CICS.
• Familiarity with PRE / POST IPL Process Shutdown / Startup procedures for IDMS DB2 and CICS.
• Ability to handle console messages WTORs and resolve contention issues.
• 2-year technical education beyond high school equivalent work experience or a combination of both.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable dependable and flexible to changing shifts.
• Ability to learn new technologies in support of the job.
• Proven ability to balance multiple tasks in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive relationship and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel to other sites if needed.

Strongly preferred but not required :

UNIX and / or Windows server experience
