About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD) and a deep understanding of best coding practices. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs and applications while contributing to continuous improvements in our development processes.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails applications and their APIs.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices ( RSpec , Minitest , etc.).

Apply TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles to ensure code reliability and quality.

Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.

Perform code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

Debug production issues and provide timely fixes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Lead or mentor junior developers — experience in leading a team is a plus.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of hands-on coding experience with Ruby on Rails.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.

Self-taught developers are also welcome.

Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful API design, and version control systems (e.G., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
