Technical Scrum Master

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Scrum Master to lead Agile software development teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile best practices, and the ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies : daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive sprint execution and delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, managers, directors, SMEs, and lead engineers to refine and prioritize the backlog.
• Guide estimation, capacity planning, and technical grooming using Agile frameworks.
• Remove impediments and resolve cross-functional blockers.
• Conduct root cause analysis and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain transparency through Jira and Confluence dashboards and reports.
• Track team metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) and use insights to optimize performance.
• Ensure alignment with product goals, technical strategy, and architectural guidelines.
• Foster collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
• Support team maturity by coaching Agile principles, promoting self-organization, and encouraging innovation.
• Communicate status, dependencies, and risks effectively to senior stakeholders.
