Role Overview

The Compliance Analyst executes day-to-day statutory and regulatory compliance work for allocated clients.

Executes compliance tasks end-to-end under defined processes and checklists.

Works under the direction and review of the Compliance Manager.

Individual contributor role with no team management responsibilities.

The position suits candidates with hands-on experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF / ESI, ROC and related laws, who want structured exposure in a Reg-Tech environment

Pay : Starting from ₹15,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and skills)

Key Responsibilities

Execute statutory compliances for MSME / startup clients covering GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF / ESI, ROC and other applicable laws.

Prepare workings, data templates, reconciliations and schedules for various returns and filings.

Draft and file GST returns, TDS returns, income-tax forms and other statutory forms within timelines set by the Compliance Manager.

Maintain compliance calendars, trackers and documentation on digital tools and cloud systems.

Coordinate with clients to obtain data, documents and clarifications required for filings and audits.

Track due dates for each client and ensure internal actions are completed on time for filing.

Record and organise working papers, workings and evidence for future reference and audits.

Prepare concise compliance summaries, MIS reports and status updates for review by the Compliance Manager and other stakeholders.

Share practical feedback with the product team on checklists, workflows and dashboards while using the Beyondtax platform.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Tax / Law / Accounting (e.g. B.Com, BBA, LLB or similar).

Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, taxation, accounting or related roles (experience in a CA firm will be valued).

Working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and ROC compliances.

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and comfort with digital tools and cloud-based systems.

Strong ownership of allocated tasks, high accuracy and comfort in working with detailed checklists.

Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes.

Nice to Have

Experience in a CA firm or a compliance-focused role handling multiple clients.

Experience in drafting process documents, SOPs or internal audit paperworks.
