Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer who will play a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of applications using Oracle APEX. This role requires hands-on expertise in building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications within the Oracle ecosystem. As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will collaborate with both technical and business teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using Oracle APEX to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and implement dynamic web applications and interactive reports in Oracle APEX, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
  • Work with SQL , PL / SQL , and Oracle APEX APIs to implement application features such as forms, reports, and dashboards.
  • Integrate Oracle APEX applications with other Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle Database , Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) ).
  • Customize APEX components such as interactive grids , charts , reports , and forms based on user requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement strong security measures for all APEX-based applications.
  • Optimize and tune application performance by ensuring efficient SQL queries , PL / SQL code , and APEX components.
  • Develop and manage APEX applications through version control systems and ensure smooth deployment processes.
  • Work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to APEX applications, ensuring that performance and reliability meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation related to the development process, system configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in user training and provide support to users for Oracle APEX applications.

Required Qualifications and Skills :

  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.
  • Strong proficiency in PL / SQL , SQL , and Oracle Database .
  • Experience with Oracle APEX 5.x and above, including development of reports, forms, and dashboards.
  • Expertise in Oracle APEX web services and RESTful services .
  • Ability to create interactive reports , charts , graphs , and dynamic dashboards using APEX.
  • Understanding of Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for building web applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with integration of Oracle APEX applications with third-party systems.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they integrate with Oracle APEX.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues related to Oracle APEX applications.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in Oracle APEX and web applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oracle APEX Certification is a plus.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud and integration between Oracle APEX and Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports and experience in transitioning from Oracle Forms to Oracle APEX.
  • Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and ERP systems .
  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Analytics Cloud .
  • Experience with mobile development using Oracle APEX.
