Job Summary

The Ghost Reader will be responsible for thoroughly reading and evaluating manuscripts or completed books and providing detailed, insightful, and unbiased reviews. This role requires a strong command of language, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to identify factual, logical, and structural issues within a manuscript. The Ghost Reader ensures that all content is accurate, well-structured, readable, and aligned with the book’s purpose and audience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manuscript Reading & Review

• Read full manuscripts, drafts, or print-ready books with close attention to detail.
• Provide comprehensive reviews covering storyline flow, clarity, engagement, structure, and coherence.
• Highlight strengths, weaknesses, and actionable suggestions for improvement.
