Job Summary :
Vessel Performance Analyst will be responsible for Data Management, Client Management and Fuel Optimization of designated vessels.
Task & Responsibilities :
Data Management :
- Ensure timely reporting and maintain ship’s Noon reports :
- Liaise with vessel for maintaining error free reporting system.
- Ensure timely reporting by the vessel.
- Analyze the trend of errors and keep a record of number of errors addressed on weekly /
monthly basis.
Maintain data of allied processes.Performance Management :
Analyse performance of the vessel (At Sea, In Port) as per the terms and share the reports with client.Evaluate fuel performance data with the goal of reducing fuel consumption onboard .vessels and conduct root cause analysis for variance in fuel consumption if reported or beginning to trend.Prepare and maintain TC vessel claim status for each voyage.Admin work scope
Process optimization / development – help in continuous improvement in the team’s various processes.Maintain the performance portal and attend to customer’s queries.Participate in the development of performance management tools.Conduct training of ship’s staff regarding performance analysis and reporting.Process improvement & development
Participate in new Product and service development.Explain technical insights to technical / non-technical groups and collaborate cross-functionally across time zones.Assist in automation of manual data processes and ensure continuous process .improvement while working within the team to support the development of the next generation application / user platform.Qualification & Experience :
Sailing background as 4th / 3rd Engineer.Shore experience in similar role will be an advantage.Knowledge & Skills :
Understanding of Technical operations on ships.Understanding of fuel optimisation and performance management.MS Office – Excel, Word and Power Point.Computer skills – programming, BI will be preferred but not mandatory.A team player with excellent cultural understanding and awareness.
