Job descriptionDrive category sales and meet profitability targets. Track key performance metrics and take timely action to improve results. Plan and execute marketing campaigns for categories. Allocate marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI and brand visibility. Optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability. Reduce wastage, stock-outs, and carrying costs through efficient planning. Build and maintain strong vendor and brand partner relationships. Negotiate margins, terms, and joint business plans to support category growth. Develop competitive pricing strategies based on market insights. Plan and execute promotions to drive sales and improve conversion. Manage all category-related activities during new city rollouts. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely launches. Work with supply chain, marketing, finance, and operations teams. Ensure alignment with overall business goals and Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred). Prior experience in FMCG category management (Food, Non-food, Pharmacy, or Beverages preferred). Based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate. Min : 2 Yrs relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset. Positive, proactive approach and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
