Database Administrator

Experience :  8-10 Years

Role Overview :

As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability databases powering our AI-driven platforms and industry solutions. You will work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams to optimize complex datasets, ensure compliance, and support agile innovation for mission-critical financial applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, install, configure, and upgrade SQL / NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.) to support AI and analytics workloads.​

Ensure data security, strong access control, regular backups, and robust disaster recovery protocols, with attention to sensitive financial data.​

Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot database performance to meet demanding SLAs in real-time financial and compliance environments.​

Collaborate with developers and AI / ML engineers on schema design, data migrations, ETL pipelines, and support for GenAI / RAG workloads.

Maintain audit logs, support regulatory compliance (GDPR, RBI, etc.), and prepare for internal / external data reviews.​

Automate routine operational tasks and document best practices, controls, and recovery processes.​

Participate in incident response and on-call rotations for critical database issues.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years managing enterprise relational and / or NoSQL databases in production.

Experience with database performance tuning, security, scripting / automation, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).​

Working knowledge of backup / recovery strategies, database migrations, and high-availability configurations.

Bonus : Familiarity with data governance in AI / ML workflows, large language model (LLM) storage, or supporting financial services data needs.
