Chief of Staff

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic counsel and support in driving business goals and objectives.
• Act as a liaison between the CEO and senior leadership, ensuring that information flows effectively across departments.
• Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with ZestIOT’s strategic vision.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that company-wide projects and initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to track the company’s performance, especially in areas like on-time performance (OTP), operational efficiency, and compliance.
• Support business growth and innovation strategies, working closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to advance ZestIOT’s connected aviation platform.
• Lead high-level meetings and ensure that the agenda aligns with business priorities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and communication briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Manage and drive company-wide change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions for new initiatives.
• Work on special projects as directed by the CEO, including partnership development, new market opportunities, and more.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related fields (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or operational role, ideally in aviation, IoT, or technology-driven industries.
• Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategic goals into operational plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• A passion for technology and innovation, particularly in IoT, big data, and cloud-based solutions.
• High emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style.

Minimum Experience :

Experience of 5 to 10 years in a leadership or operational role, ideally in aviation, IoT, or technology-driven industries.
