About the Role :

As a Solutions Architect at IDS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of complex application development projects. This position focuses on leveraging domain-driven architecture to align technical solutions with business domains, decomposing monolithic applications into microservices, and ensuring overall application resilience and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, with expertise in any major cloud hyperscaler (such as AWS, or Google Cloud) being essential. Proficiency in Agentic Process Automation (APA) and Agentic AI is highly valued, enabling you to design AI-driven systems that autonomously manage workflows, make real-time decisions, and adapt to unpredictable scenarios, thereby reducing manual intervention and boosting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement domain-driven architectures that model business domains effectively, ensuring alignment between software components and organizational needs.

Lead services decomposition initiatives, breaking down legacy systems into modular, reusable microservices to enhance agility and maintainability.

Develop comprehensive application architectures, including integration patterns, data flows, and security models for high-performance systems.

Architect solutions on cloud hyperscalers, optimizing for cost, performance, and scalability while incorporating best practices for cloud-native development.

Integrate Agentic Process Automation frameworks to create flexible workflows where AI agents autonomously gather data, analyze patterns, make decisions, and execute tasks across enterprise systems, leveraging LLMs for natural language understanding and generative AI for predictive insights

Utilize Agentic AI to enable real-time adaptation, continuous learning, and orchestration of complex processes, such as handling unstructured data, resolving ambiguities, and optimizing outcomes without predefined rules.

Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical blueprints, emphasizing the use of APA for dynamic process management over traditional rule-based automation.

Conduct architecture reviews, provide mentorship to junior architects, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot complex architectural issues and drive continuous improvement in application design and deployment, including evaluating APA's self-monitoring and feedback mechanisms for ongoing optimization.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with a strong focus on application development.

Expertise in domain-driven design (DDD) principles, including bounded contexts, aggregates, and event sourcing.

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud hyperscaler (AWS, GCP), including services like compute, storage, and serverless offerings.

Familiarity with Agentic Process Automation and Agentic AI, including their use of AI agents for autonomous decision-making, task execution, and adaptation in dynamic environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with Agentic Process Automation tools and Agentic AI frameworks, such as those involving LLMs for reasoning, data processing, and workflow orchestration to handle cognitive tasks beyond traditional RPA.

Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in enterprise-level application modernization projects, including integrating APA for scalable, adaptive automation.

Strong leadership skills with a history of mentoring teams and driving architectural innovation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field
