QA Automation Engineer (6-8 Years) – Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate web and microservices applications deployed on Kubernetes clusters.
• Use kubectl and Kubernetes APIs for validating cluster status, deployments, scaling, failover, node and pod health, config management, and network policies.
• Implement and execute automation strategies for CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI / CD.
• Validate multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure reliability, security, and scalability of cloud-native applications.
• Conduct system, integration, performance, and chaos testing across distributed Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), monitoring, alerts, and troubleshooting of test automation in CI / CD pipelines.
• Document and track bugs, perform risk analysis, and contribute to release readiness metrics and quality gates.
• Mentor junior team members in advanced test automation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, techniques (chaos engineering, performance, load testing), and trends in Kubernetes / cloud automation.
