Job description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range : Rs 300000 - Rs 400000 (ie INR 3-4 LPA)

Min Experience : 2 years

Location : Bengaluru

JobType : full-time

As a Business Development Executive, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Your primary goal will be to generate qualified leads, nurture client relationships, and support the development of sales strategies that strengthen our presence in the Bengaluru market. You will be involved in everything from prospect research and outbound outreach to pitching solutions, preparing proposals, and closing deals. This role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and marketing principles. You will also support brand visibility efforts through networking, follow-ups, and strategic communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities across relevant industries.
  • Generate qualified leads through outbound calling, emailing, networking, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.
  • Present and promote solutions effectively to potential customers.
  • Develop tailored sales pitches, proposals, and presentations based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with market demands.
  • Track sales pipelines, update CRM systems, and prepare weekly / monthly reports.
  • Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional activities, events, and campaigns.
  • Understand competitor offerings and contribute to differentiating market strategies.
  • Follow up with leads systematically to maximize conversion and retention.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • You are confident, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of your pipeline and targets.
  • You communicate clearly, persuasively, and professionally—both verbally and in writing.
  • You excel at relationship-building and understand how to create value for clients.
  • You bring strong negotiation and presentation skills and can adapt your approach based on customer needs.
  • You have an analytical mindset and can evaluate market opportunities to drive strategic decisions.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, target-driven environment and bring a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
