Computer Vision Intern

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote internship opportunity for a Computer Vision Intern . In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to build and enhance end-to-end computer vision systems used in real manufacturing environments.

Your responsibilities will span the full lifecycle of AI-driven solutions, from data collection and preprocessing , to model fine-tuning and optimization , and finally deploying models as production-ready applications on edge or cloud platforms. This role goes beyond algorithm development; you will gain hands-on experience in creating complete, real-world AI solutions , including system integration, performance evaluation, and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

Strong programming fundamentals , especially in Python; knowledge of C / C++ is a strong advantage.

Solid understanding of OOP principles , modularity, extensibility, and writing clean, scalable code.

Strong problem-solving ability (“vibe coding”) — able to break down problems, define system design, and deliver small, well-structured software components.

Foundational knowledge of Computer Vision and Deep Learning , including CNN fundamentals and hands-on experience with object detection, segmentation, and tracking using models such as YOLO, RF-DETR , and classical tracking algorithms.

Basic understanding of transformer-based vision models , including Vision Transformers (ViT), attention mechanisms, and familiarity with models like CLIP or DINO .

Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle , Git / GitHub workflows, and contributing to open-source projects (participation in competitions is a plus).

A strong ownership and “get-things-done” mindset , going beyond technical skills to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and drive tasks to completion in a startup environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Stipend : ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on skills and experience)

Flexible Duration : 3–6 months, or aligned with project requirements
