OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Snowflake Architect within HCLTech's Information Technology department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's data analytics landscape. This position is integral to our mission of delivering robust, compliant, and strategic data solutions that drive business success. Your expertise will be critical in designing, implementing, and managing data models and analytics solutions using Snowflake, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and regulatory standards.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and implementation of analytics solutions and data models using Snowflake.
• Evaluate and interpret business requirements to determine data warehouse structural needs.
• Ensure compliance of data warehouse implementation with both internal and external regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed data warehouse design and architecture reports to management.
• Oversee the data migration process from legacy systems to new data solutions.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Snowflake data structures, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Perform data transformations using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Conduct regular system performance tests and troubleshoot issues, integrating new features as needed.
• Recommend enhancements for new and existing data warehouse solutions.
• Provide training and support to team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Respond promptly to system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Document data flows between various systems and applications.
• Guide developers in creating functional and technical specifications for reporting requirements and ETL processes.
