VXI Lead Workday Integration Developer
Role Overview
As a Workday Integration Developer at VXI, you will take a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining complex Workday integrations while leading the integration team to success. This position requires deep expertise in Workday tools, coding proficiency, and strong leadership skills to guide team efforts and drive integration strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Leadership
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday integrations, including finance, payroll, HR systems, and other critical areas.
- Lead the integration team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Drive best practices and ensure consistency in integration development and delivery.
- Development and Technical Implementation
- Build and optimize interfaces to customer and vendor systems using Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIB, iLoad, XML, XSLT, and Web Services.
- Demonstrate hands-on coding and integration expertise across project lifecycles.
- Leverage XML, XSLT, and scripting tools to create and maintain robust integrations.
- Documentation and Design
- Develop comprehensive integration specifications, field mappings, and technical design documents.
- Ensure workflows align with both business and technical requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders to assess integration needs and design optimal solutions.
- Collaborate closely with finance, payroll, and HR teams to ensure seamless data flow and system alignment.
- Issue Resolution and Strategic Planning
- Investigate and resolve integration issues, perform root cause analyses, and recommend improvements.
- Drive strategic advancements in Workday integration practices across the organization.
- Data Management and System Alignment
- Oversee data flow between Workday and internal / external systems, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Support organizational data strategies through effective Workday integrations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience working with Workday, including integration development using :Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIB, iLoad, XML, XSLT, and Web Services.Proven experience building multiple interfaces for customer and vendor systems related to finance, payroll, and HR.Strong coding and scripting skills for integration development and automation.Demonstrated ability to manage integration projects across diverse teams in fast-paced environments.Experience driving architectural changes and system optimization initiatives.Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in developing complex payroll, schedule, absence, and timekeeping integrations.Strong leadership and team management skills with a history of guiding integration teams toward successful project completion.
